Image to Excel

Upload a photo of a table on paper or on screen and get an editable Excel file. Perlecta tells you what it couldn't read: cells it is unsure about are marked yellow, unreadable ones orange.

The photo is sent to our servers to be read and is not stored.

How to convert a table image to Excel

    1

    Add the photo

Make sure the whole table is visible, straight and sharp. A phone photo or a screenshot both work.

    2

    Convert to Excel

Perlecta reads the table with its rows and columns. It takes a few seconds.

    3

    Check and download

Look at the yellow and orange cells, then download the Excel file. The colours stay in the file too.

    Questions

    Is it free?

2 tables a day are free, no sign-up needed. For more, use the Perlecta app.

What do yellow and orange cells mean?

Yellow: Perlecta read it but isn't sure, take a look. Orange: something is there but it couldn't be read. White cells were confirmed by at least two independent checks.

    Is my photo stored?

No. The photo is sent to our servers to be read and is not stored afterwards.

    Which photos work best?

Printed, flat and sharp tables. Keep the whole table in the frame, without shadows or glare. Handwriting and very tilted photos are harder to read.
